Sepsis
Six
The Sepsis Six is simple- a set of six tasks which can be completed by any team of healthcare professionals. All staff- nurses, doctors and allied health professionals- have a part to play in the delivery of the Sepsis Six.
When delivered within one hour following recognition of sepsis, the Six save lives. We have shown that the chances of an individual dying from sepsis can be halved.
